Industrial Millwork & Fabrication Carpenter — Park Forest, IL

Pay: $20–$23 per hour (based on experience) | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

A day in this role

You’ll turn drawings and materials into finished units inside our shop. Your morning kicks off with measuring and layout, followed by precision cutting and assembly. As the day rolls on, you’ll shift between cabinetry, flooring, HVAC sheet metal cuts, and finish installs—keeping quality and safety at the forefront in a busy, high-noise environment.

Core responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical units and fabricated parts into sub-assemblies and finished products
• Measure, cut, and install plywood for walls and floors
• Measure and cut sheet metal for HVAC duct work
• Install paneling, vinyl flooring, and insulation
• Install cabinets, doors, trim, countertops, and accessories (handles, mudflaps, steps)
• Install drop ceilings and windows
• Work safely while performing repetitive tasks in a high-noise shop
• Operate at heights and during climbs on stairs, trailers, and ladders

What you bring

• Hands-on carpentry and fabrication experience
• Precision measuring, cutting, and assembly skills
• Experience with drywall, flooring, HVAC, and paneling installations
• Knowledge of safety protocols for heights and industrial environments
• Strength and stamina to lift up to 49 lbs frequently and to bend, kneel, stoop, stand, reach, climb, twist, and crawl
• Attention to detail and consistency with repetitive tasks
