Your responsibilities will include inspecting, repairing, and refurbishing dies and production tools. Fabricate replacement components using manual machining tools and operate equipment such as lathes and milling machines. You'll also interpret engineering drawings and apply practical judgment for legacy toolings with no existing documentation. Precision measurement instruments will be your go-to tools to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy.
Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in tooling setup and alignment and assist production teams when needed. Keeping accurate records of repairs and ensuring safety and cleanliness remain top priorities.
We are looking for someone with a high school diploma or GED; additional technical training is advantageous. While experience in manual machining is preferred, candidates who demonstrate mechanical aptitude and enthusiasm for learning will be considered.
