What you’ll handle

• Operate overhead cranes to lift, transport, and place materials and equipment with safety and accuracy.
• Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance tasks on crane equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and standards to protect people, product, and equipment.
• Coordinate with teammates to plan lifts and manage load handling effectively.
• Document crane usage and inspection findings clearly and completely.
• Report equipment faults and any unsafe conditions to supervisors without delay.
• Participate in safety training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.

What it takes

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid certification to operate overhead cranes.
• Demonstrated experience in an industrial setting using overhead cranes.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints and technical specs.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Physical strength and stamina to support manual labor when needed.
