Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Paint Stripping Technician to join our team in the Grand Rapids/Kentwood area. In this role, you will remove paint and coatings from metal parts and fixtures, inspect components for quality, and prepare materials for refinishing and manufacturing processes.

Industrial Paint Stripping Technician Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 20.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Various shifts available (Monday through Friday)
- 2nd shift is Monday – Friday, 2:00PM – 10:00PM.
- 3rd shift is Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
- Strip paint and coatings from metal parts using approved methods and equipment
- Inspect parts for quality and completeness
- Prepare materials for painting and production
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Assist with material handling and general production tasks
Industrial Paint Stripping Technician Qualifications:
- Previous industrial, manufacturing, or paint-related experience preferred.
- Must be willing to operate a high pressure power washer daily.
- Previous experience with forklift or overhead crane preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
