Industrial Painter / Assembler Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare metal surfaces and manufactured components for industrial painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
- Apply paint and protective coatings to metal parts and finished products using industrial painting equipment.
- Perform general assembly of manufactured products and components using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and follow work instructions and production specifications to ensure quality workmanship.
- Inspect painted and assembled products for defects, proper coverage, and overall quality.
- Perform basic finishing, touch-up, and rework tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other production and manufacturing duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous industrial painting, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Willingness to learn new processes and perform various manufacturing tasks.
