    Description

    We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our client’s team located in Greenville, SC. If you take pride in producing high-quality finishes, enjoy hands-on work, and are committed to safety, we want to hear from you.As an Industrial Painter, you'll play a key role in preparing, painting, and finishing locomotive components and equipment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and workmanship.Responsibilities
    • Prepare metal surfaces for painting using grinders, sanders, and needle scalers.
    • Clean and inspect surfaces to ensure they are properly prepared for paint application.
    • Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications.
    • Apply paint to large surfaces as well as small and large parts using proper painting techniques.
    • Move materials and components safely in and out of the paint booth.
    • Safely operate forklifts and a variety of power tools.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
    • Work in both hot and cold plant conditions as required.
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures while using the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Produce high-quality work that meets company and customer standards.
    Requirements
    • 2–3 years of industrial or commercial painting experience.
    • Experience preparing surfaces for painting using sanding, grinding, and scaling equipment.
    • Ability to safely operate forklifts and power tools.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
    • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
    • Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
    • Vocational or technical school training in painting or a related trade.
    • Forklift certification or previous forklift operating experience.
    • Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
