About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Industrial Painter to join our team in Charleston, Mississippi. This position is ideal for someone with painting experience who takes pride in quality work and wants steady, full-time employment in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Paint and prime parts using spray equipment according to supervisor instructions and quality standards.
- Mix and cure paint correctly, ensuring colors and finishes match job orders.
- Review job orders, verify materials, and report any issues before painting.
- Inspect painted parts for defects and assist with touchâÂ?Â?ups or corrections.
- Move finished parts to designated areas and track completed work.
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous industrial, auto body, or commercial painting experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow basic drawings and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and consistent, highâÂ?Â?quality work.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
Physical & Safety Requirements
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for most of an 8âÂ?Â?hour shift.
- Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds as needed.
- Comfortable working around dust, fumes, and noise with proper protective equipment.
- Willing to wear required PPE.
