Industrial Painter Job Description:

PrideStaff is currently working with a local metal fabrication company who is seeking an Industrial Painter to join their team. The Industrial Painter will apply hands-on painting of high volume steel components including beams and columns while maintaining precision and equipment hygiene. The ideal Industrial Painter has previous experience as a painter in an industrial or construction environment, has solid knowledge of paint guns, accessories, and paint as well as superb attention to detail and time management. The Industrial Painter position is a full-time, temp to hire position in Matthews, NC.


Industrial Painter Job Responsibilities:

  • Coating Paint All Steel Products Coming Through The Production Line & in The Back Booth

  • Ensure Paint Supplies Are Stocked For The Day; Alter Supervisors When Inventory is Low

  • Help Cut Wood, Load Steel, & Strap Down Trailers as Needed

  • Clean & Maintain Paint Guns, Tips, & Respirators 

  • Keep Conveyors, Rollers, & The Shot Blaster Free of Paint Buildup

  • Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines 

 


Industrial Painter Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required 

  • 1+ Years of Industrial or Construction Painting 

  • Excellent Attention to Detail & The Ability to Follow Strict Maintenance Schedules 

  • Must be Able to Lift up to 75lbs, Stand For Long Periods

  • Handle Climbing, Bending & Stooping
