Industrial Painter / Powder Coater (1st Shift) - Canton, OH - JOB 26-00415

Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $25.00/HR Full-time Permanent Position with Benefits

A well-established hand tool manufacturer located in Canton is seeking an Industrial Paint / Powder Coater.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years' experience required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and dependable means of transportation.
• Hours: 7AM - 3:30PM
• Must be dependable and self-motivating with a stable work history.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Must be able to lift to 50lbs.
• Mobility requirements: bending, kneeling, standing, walking, reaching)

DUTIES

• Paint or powder coat surfaces of manufactured metal products with wet paint or powder using spray gun.
• Sets up industrial washer for cleaning parts.
• Loads parts on conveyor.
• Mix coating, liquid to desired color, or pour powder into hopper.
• Sets baking oven to specified temperature to properly bake paint or powder.
• Checks parts after baking to ensure correct paint thickness using mil thickness gage.
• Removes parts from conveyor and de-masks as required.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
