Your mission
Host engaging kickoff meetings that set clear goals for production and quality while sharing updates from cross-functional partners and other facilities.
Set expectations and coach relentlessly on safety, performance, attendance, training, housekeeping/5S, and quality.
Ensure every team member has the information needed to execute safely and meet quality standards.
Lead investigations of injuries, accidents, and near misses; implement fixes such as engineering controls and targeted training.
Perform and document audits across safety, training, and quality; build countermeasures and follow-through to completion.
Contribute to maintaining compliance with TS16949 and other customer-mandated certifications.
Allocate people to work assignments, balancing skills and production priorities.
Apply fair, consistent disciplinary action when required.
Partner with materials planning and logistics to keep work centers supplied.
Review production data from each operator and verify accuracy.
Process timekeeping, payroll, and attendance data with precision.
Assist with preventive maintenance activities that sustain equipment health.
What it takes
High School diploma or GED (required).
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred, not required).
3+ years of experience in manufacturing/production environments.
Glass manufacturing process familiarity preferred.
Availability for all shifts with dependable, regular attendance.
Team-oriented approach and willingness to collaborate to deliver results.
Valid driver’s license for business travel.
Flexibility for workweeks exceeding 40 hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.
Capabilities you’ll use daily
Intermediate/advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to master procedures and uphold safe practices in a manufacturing setting.
Hands-on, analytical problem-solving approach.
