We are hiring experienced Industrial Platers for a manufacturing company in Rockland, MA. Openings are available on 1st and 2nd shift.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on industrial plating/electroplating experience required.
Experience can include barrel plating, rack plating, nickel, chrome, copper, tin, zinc, electroless nickel, or other industrial metal finishing processes.
What You'll Do
Perform barrel and/or rack plating
Set up and operate plating equipment
Monitor plating tanks and chemical solutions
Make chemical additions and process adjustments
Load, rack, dip, and process manufactured parts
Inspect finished parts for quality, coverage, and plating thickness
Maintain production and chemical logs
Safely handle plating chemicals and follow all PPE and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
5+ years of industrial plating/electroplating experience
Hands-on experience with plating tanks and chemical solutions
Knowledge of plating processes and quality requirements
Ability to follow specifications and safety procedures
Dependable and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
1st and 2nd shift available
2nd shift receives an additional $2.00/hour
Overtime and occasional Saturday mornings may be required.
