    Job Description

Make an Impact in El Paso, TX

Step onto the floor of our El Paso facility and into a role where your craft keeps production safe, reliable, and running. As a Journeyman-licensed Industrial Power & Controls Electrician, you’ll be the expert behind installs, upgrades, and precision troubleshooting that protect uptime and elevate performance.

    A day in the life

You start with a quick pass through priority work orders, then head to the line to verify lockout/tagout and assess system health. A drive motor is running warm—your meter, experience, and a schematic confirm the culprit. You correct the fault, document the fix, and schedule a preventive check so it doesn’t return. By afternoon, you’re bending conduit for a new panel, collaborating with maintenance teammates, and verifying code compliance on a recent install.

    Your core responsibilities

    • Build, service, and optimize industrial electrical systems, panels, and equipment.
    • Diagnose faults quickly and perform corrective repairs to reduce downtime.
    • Execute routine inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
    • Interpret and apply blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
    • Follow and enforce electrical codes, site safety practices, and LOTO procedures.
    • Partner closely with maintenance and operations to support facility goals.
    • Record work performed, parts used, and findings with clarity and accuracy.
    • Keep skills current with evolving tools, standards, and electrical technologies.

    What you bring

    • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a journeyman electrician program preferred.
    • Valid electrician’s license.
    • Proven background as an industrial electrician or in a comparable role.
    • Deep understanding of electrical power, controls, wiring methods, and safety protocols.
    • Ability to read and act on technical documentation and electrical drawings.
    • Strong troubleshooting mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Clear communicator who thrives in a team-based environment.
    • Flexibility for varied hours and readiness to respond to urgent calls as needed.

    Technical strengths

    • Electrical installation
    • Electrical troubleshooting
    • Conduit bending
    • Schematic interpretation
