We are seeking a versatile Industrial Process Utilities Engineer to lead the lifecycle management of critical utility systems for a state-of-the-art production complex. This role is responsible for the massive mechanical infrastructure that powers our manufacturing, including high-capacity chilled water, cooling towers, industrial steam, and process vacuum systems.Based initially in Tempe and Peoria, AZ , you will support the site through the construction and commissioning phases before transitioning to a permanent leadership role in our flagship Peoria factory operations.Key Responsibilities System Design & Project ExecutionTechnical Integration: Partner with design consultants to ensure that process cooling, potable water, and reclamation systems meet the rigorous demands of a high-tech facility.Construction & Startup: Review engineering submittals and blueprints; monitor construction progress to ensure as-built accuracy.Commissioning Leadership: Lead equipment preparation and operational testing, identifying and resolving system abnormalities during the critical startup phase.Operational Stewardship & ReliabilityContinuous Monitoring: Oversee the daily performance of cooling towers, condenser water, and vacuum systems through trend analysis and technical inspections.OCAP Management: Act as the lead for "Out-of-Control Action Plan" responses regarding temperature, humidity, and utility pressure deviations within cleanroom environments.Reliability Engineering: Apply FMEA and root cause analysis to investigate incidents and implement upgrades that prevent recurrence and enhance system safety.Sustaining & Strategic PlanningCapacity & Growth: Perform system capacity planning to ensure utility availability matches future production demands.Sustainability: Identify and implement energy-saving opportunities and water reclamation strategies to support corporate ESG goals.Tool Hook-up: Review process schematics for new production tools and perform engineering inspections during the installation phase.Candidate Profile Essential Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.Experience: 3+ years in process utility systems engineering (design and operations), specifically within high-tech manufacturing, aerospace, or pharmaceutical sectors.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial steam systems, cooling towers, chilled water loops, and process vacuum technology.Software Proficiency: Mastery of AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam for interpreting and revising complex engineering specifications.Physical & Operational Readiness:Field Adaptability: Ability to work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, and work at elevations or in confined spaces with appropriate PPE.Medical Fitness: Must be medically qualified to wear a respirator and capable of lifting/adjusting objects up to 50 lbs.Professional Credentials: A Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.Location & Mobility:Ability to work onsite at Tempe and Peoria locations, with hybrid flexibility available as the project matures.#J-18808-Ljbffr
