Your mission
- Own the plan: convert production requirements into assignments that align to VWI and current job procedures.
- Keep the signal strong: communicate across levels, partner with previous/next shifts, and sync with cross-functional teams.
- Protect the product: react to abnormalities fast, manage process quality, and verify fixes.
- Close the gaps: build and track countermeasures for DT, quality, KPI attainment, and safety.
- Grow capability: ensure adequate training, coach performance, and keep documentation accurate and updated.
- Adapt and deliver: take on other duties or projects as assigned to meet business needs.

Team leadership and accountability
- Hold associates to safety, quality, and conduct standards.
- Verify work is performed per VWI and procedures; intervene when it’s not.
- Recommend and provide training to close performance gaps.
- Coach, develop, and participate in counseling to elevate team performance.
What you bring
- Leadership background with formal problem-solving experience.
- Clear, effective communication; collaborative and improvement-minded.
- Comfort with robotics/automation (preferred), plus continuous improvement participation.
- Manufacturing environment experience; High School diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Hands-on capabilities: soldering; warehouse and packaging experience.
Physical capability
- Stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers, climb stairs, and reach with arms and hands.
- Lift and move 10–30 lbs on a periodic basis.
- Vision: close, color, peripheral, distance, depth perception, and focus for product examination.
- Ability to travel by car or air.
Decision authority
- Lead and participate in corrective actions when needed.
- Work with the Supervisor to determine team member placement.
- Stop production if safety or quality issues arise.
- Request process changes—with prior approval—covering equipment, software, and more.
