We are seeking an experienced Industrial Project Manager with mechanical construction expertise to lead projects in chemical, food and beverage, automotive, oil and gas, and manufacturing environments. This role manages projects from bid through closeout, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery. The position is based in Kansas City with 15–20% regional travel to industrial jobsites.

Salary: $80,000–$125,000, based on experience

Key Responsibilities
Manage mechanical construction projects or support senior leaders on large-scale industrial builds
Lead field teams and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project documentation
Manage schedules, budgets, profitability, and project accounting
Communicate effectively with clients, inspectors, and internal teams
Ensure safety, regulatory, and contractual compliance on all projects
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of mechanical construction project management experience in industrial settings
High school diploma/GED plus a bachelor’s degree in construction or mechanical engineering, 5+ years of mechanical trade experience, or equivalent combination
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Strong knowledge of contracts, budgeting, safety, and industrial regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools
Knowledge of industrial codes, OSHA regulations, HVAC, plumbing, piping, and process systems
