Outside Industrial Sales Representative ideally located Eastern Ohio - Cleveland area.

Our client is an Industrial Personal Protective Equipment Distributor that is looking for YOU, a successful Outside Sales Representative (OSR) and become the driving force behind their growth and success. As an OSR, you'll be more than just a salesperson;you'll be a strategic partner, responsible for nurturing and expanding our clients key accounts, driving market share growth, ensuring profitability, and creating exceptional customer experiences.

Your focus will be on elevating our client's Industrial Division's safety presence, and our client will be sure to equip you with the training, tools and support to make it happen.

In addition to our client's comprehensive range of products, in this position as their Industrial Outside Sales Representative you will have the opportunity to sell all of their cutting-edge Technical Services & Solutions alongside their core products. Our client follows a Solution Selling sales strategy, and your expertise and guidance will be instrumental in bringing these solutions to their (soon to be your) valued customers.

Essential functions and responsibilities that you enjoy and expect:
  • Exceed Sales Goals: Consistently meet and surpass both qualitative and quantitative sales targets, demonstrating your prowess in driving results.
  • Strategic Sales: Sell our client's Industrial Safety Division's diverse range of products, services, and solutions to both existing and new customers, with a focus on increasing volume, product mix, and profitability. Your primary emphasis will be on promoting our client's Industrial technical services and solutions, as well as the innovative products from strategic manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Market Research and Prospecting: Conduct market research to identify potential customers, accurately forecast sales opportunities, manage a dynamic prospect pipeline using our client's CRM tools, and diligently follow up on sales leads. Your proactive approach will move potential customers through the sales cycle to generate revenue for the company and great uncapped commissions for you!
  • Customer Experience: Prioritize creating a positive and memorable customer experience throughout the sales process, ensuring that each interaction reflects our client's (and yours) Industrial Division commitment to quality and service.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and nurture effective customer relationships, gaining insights into customer needs and preferences. Promote a comprehensive understanding of our client's products and service offerings, aligning them to increase organic and new customer opportunities.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities within your assigned territory. Actively participate in cross-collaboration and knowledge-sharing within your team.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay well-versed in our client's product offerings, researching and demonstrating them effectively to customers, emphasizing their features and benefits.
  • Competitor Monitoring: Keep a watchful eye on competitor activities within your territory and develop and implement effective response strategies. Provide valuable input on competitive advantages and market price developments.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of sales, contacts, and activities in our client's CRM system, ensuring data integrity and allowing you for effective tracking of your progress.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with customer service representatives, marketing teams, and other departments to keep account activities and marketing materials up to date and giving them your territory's VOC.
  • Product Training: Coordinate and conduct customer training sessions on our client's products and applications, showcasing our client's Industrial Division commitment to customer education and support.
  • Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendor contacts, proactively scheduling training sessions and joint calls with strategic partners.
  • Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve any customer issues related to deliveries and accounts receivables, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Trade Shows: Attend and actively participate in trade shows, representing our client's Industrial Safety Division and further expanding our client's reach in the industry.
  • Adaptability: You are willing to be ready to take on additional duties and responsibilities as the needs of the company evolve.
