Seeking: Industrial Saw Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: Houston, TX 77028
Pay:$20 per hour | Starting rate may vary based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule: 2:30 PM – 1:30 AM | 5–6 Days Per Week
Employment Type: Full-Time | Weekly Pay
Important: This position requires working in a safety-sensitive manufacturing environment. Applicants must be comfortable following all safety requirements, including remaining clean-shaven at all times to wear a respirator.

Openwork is hiring an experienced Industrial Saw Operator for a manufacturing facility in Houston. If you enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, and being part of a safety-focused production team, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate an industrial bridge saw.
- Read cut lists and production specifications.
- Measure, mark, and cut materials accurately.
- Operate a forklift to move and stage materials.
- Perform basic equipment checks and complete production logs.
- Inspect finished products for quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all safety and PPE requirements.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of industrial saw, machine operator, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience operating an industrial bridge saw (such as marble or granite slab saws) is a strong plus.
- Forklift experience required.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout a 10+ hour shift.
- Must be clean-shaven each workday for proper respirator fit.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Work Environment & Safety:
This facility follows strict health and safety standards.
- Climate-controlled facility with spot coolers.
- Must wear a respirator throughout the shift.
- Must remain clean-shaven at all times to ensure a proper respirator seal.
- Daily showering and periodic blood testing are required as part of the company's lead safety program.
- Must follow all PPE and workplace safety requirements.
