Diversified Support Services is seeking a Industrial Saw Operator in the Acworth, GA area. This role is responsible for operating industrial saw equipment, ensuring materials are cut accurately to customer specifications, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. We are looking for dependable, detailoriented individuals who thrive in a fastpaced production setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial saw equipment, including startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
- Load raw materials according to diagrams/blueprints and verify component dimensions.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and comply with lockout/tagout procedures.
- Conduct periodic quality checks, measure tolerances, and follow proper reject procedures.
- Maintain documentation, housekeeping standards, and participate in 6S/Lean initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
- Basic computer skills and strong mathematical ability (rate, ratio, percent, graph interpretation).
- Ability to follow instructions, solve practical problems, and perform accurate measurements.
- Preferred: SAP/database experience, overhead crane experience, saw or machine operation experience, forklift experience
Schedule & Pay
- 1st and 2nd Shift Available
- 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- $18-$22 (DOE)
