Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine & Production Equipment Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery in a furniture manufacturing facility. 

Location: Greenville, NCJob Type: Full-TimePay: $22.00–$28.00/hour, based on experience

Schedule:Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Occasional Saturdays during busy season: 7:00 AM–12:00 PM

$22 - $28 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair industrial sewing machines and production equipment.
  • Service JUKI, United, and similar industrial sewing machines.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and replace worn or damaged parts.
  • Troubleshoot and repair CNC routers, fabric-cutting equipment, motors, belts, bearings, drives, and other mechanical components.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize production downtime.
  • Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and equipment installation.
  • Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records.
  • Follow all company safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience repairing or maintaining industrial machinery or production equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with industrial sewing machines strongly preferred.
  • Experience with JUKI, United, CNC routers, or fabric-cutting equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs independently.
  • Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk throughout the facility, bend, stoop, reach, use hand/power tools, and lift or move equipment parts as needed.
