TradeWorX is hiring Industrial Spray Painters for immediate opportunities in the Akron/Canton, OH area. We are seeking experienced painters who can properly prepare surfaces, mix coatings, operate industrial spray equipment, and produce consistent, quality finishes while maintaining safe work practices.

Pay & Overtime:
$20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Overtime expectations should be confirmed during the recruiting process.
Schedule:
1st shift. Immediate start.
Job Duties:
Prepare surfaces by sanding, cleaning, degreasing, masking, and removing existing coatings as required.
Apply primers, base coats, and topcoats using industrial spray equipment.
Mix paints and coatings to appropriate specifications and viscosity.
Set up, operate, clean, and maintain spray guns and related painting equipment.
Inspect completed surfaces for proper coverage, appearance, adhesion, and defects.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-conscious work area.
Requirements:
Previous industrial spray painting or closely related coating experience.
Experience with applicable spray equipment such as airless, HVLP, or conventional spray systems.
Ability to perform proper surface preparation and paint/coating mixing.
Must have required PPE, including steel-toe footwear and hard hat.
Ability to work safely and consistently in an industrial environment.
Boom lift certification and OSHA 10 are preferred but not required.
Ideal Candidate:
Demonstrates hands-on industrial spray painting experience rather than general painting exposure.
Can independently prepare surfaces and operate spray equipment.
Understands the importance of coating quality and proper surface preparation.
Reliable, safety-conscious, and ready for an ASAP start.
