Step into a pivotal role guiding an established, fast-growing staffing branch serving factory, warehouse, logistics, and light industrial employers across Akron, Ohio. As our Branch Director, you’ll own sales growth, client partnerships, and the performance of a driven recruiting team—seeing the direct results of your strategy and decisions every day.
A Day in the Life
Your morning starts by prioritizing client orders and ensuring your team has what they need to fill roles quickly and accurately. Midday, you’re in the field or on high-volume calls developing new accounts, expanding existing relationships, and positioning our branch as the trusted workforce partner in Akron. Afternoons are about coaching—reviewing pipeline metrics, fill ratios, and customer satisfaction, then sharpening the team’s recruiting and sales execution. You wrap by reviewing ATS/CRM dashboards to track revenue, activity, and service quality, making fast calls that keep the branch ahead.
What You’ll Own
- Business Growth: Drive revenue through proactive business development, client retention, and service excellence.
- Market Expansion: Identify opportunities to grow share in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, and broader industrial sectors.
- Client Partnerships: Become a go-to advisor for local employers, aligning talent solutions to their production timelines.
- Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and motivate recruiters and staffing pros; create accountability around activity, goals, fill rates, retention, and satisfaction.
- Operations Excellence: Oversee daily staffing operations; recruit, interview, and place quality candidates in temporary and temp-to-hire roles.
- Systems & Compliance: Leverage ATS/CRM to manage pipelines and performance; uphold branch compliance and service standards.
- Communication: Maintain strong, frequent touchpoints with clients, candidates, and internal leaders.
What You Bring
- Staffing industry background strongly preferred, with experience leading a branch, recruiting team, or staffing operation.
- Proven B2B sales, account management, or business development success.
- Experience in industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or light industrial staffing is highly valued.
- ATS/CRM experience is required.
