Industrial Welder / Fabricator | $25-$28/hr

TradeWorX is hiring experienced Welders/Fabricators for a fabrication facility in the Eighty Four, PA area. This role focuses on building industrial water and environmental treatment systems that are fully fabricated in a shop environment before being shipped for installation. Workers will fabricate and assemble modular skid-mounted systems that include pumps, filtration vessels, tanks, and process piping used in industrial and environmental treatment applications.
These systems are built as complete units in the shop, allowing them to be transported and installed efficiently at project sites. This position begins with shop-based fabrication, with the opportunity for temp-to-perm conversion and long-term field installation opportunities after hire.
Pay & Overtime

• $25–$28 per hour based on experience
• Overtime available based on production needs

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8-hour shifts
• Overtime available

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate carbon steel and stainless steel components
• Build modular skid-mounted treatment systems including piping, vessels, frames, and equipment supports
• Fabricate and assemble process piping, filter vessels, tanks, and structural frames
• Perform cutting, grinding, fitting, and preparation of materials prior to welding
• Assemble pumps, valves, filtration units, and mechanical systems
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, mechanical blueprints, and piping diagrams
• Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, and overhead cranes

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welder or Fabricator in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding; Stick welding a plus
• Ability to read fabrication prints and mechanical drawings
• Experience working with stainless steel and carbon steel
• Experience with mechanical assembly, pipe fitting, pumps, and valves preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in physically demanding positions
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Must have clean driving record and valid auto insurance
• Must successfully pass a welding test
