Industrial Welder/Rigger

TradeWorX is hiring experienced Welder/Riggers for a heavy industrial equipment rebuild project in Troy, MI. This is a first-shift opportunity working 10-hour days on a major tumblast system upgrade. Qualified candidates must have strong welding, rigging, and cutting experience and be comfortable working around large industrial equipment and structural components.

Job Responsibilities

• Upgrade and rebuild a 34-cube tumblast system
• Remove and replace mill components
• Replace roof sections and structural components
• Install and align elevator assemblies
• Replace blast wheels and related equipment
• Perform welding, cutting, fitting, and rigging operations
• Follow all safety procedures and jobsite requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of welding, rigging, and cutting experience
• Ability to work independently and safely in an industrial environment
• Experience with heavy equipment installation or rebuild projects preferred
• Must possess own hand tools and cordless impact guns
