Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Infant and Early Childhood Therapist to join our team full-time. This position is ideal for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent who is passionate about supporting young children and their families through early intervention and therapeutic care. In this role, you will conduct developmental and behavioral assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and provide both individual and group therapy using evidence-based approaches. You will play a critical role in promoting healthy emotional, behavioral, and social development in infants and young children. Responsibilities


  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for infants, toddlers, and young children to determine developmental and behavioral needs

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client goals, strengths, and areas of concern

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based therapeutic approaches appropriate for early childhood

  • Support caregivers and families in building healthy attachment, parenting strategies, and behavioral management techniques

  • Perform regular wellness checks to monitor client progress and treatment effectiveness

  • Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with licensing and ethical standards

  • Collaborate with pediatricians, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

  • Adhere to all facility protocols, HIPAA regulations, and state licensing requirements

Qualifications


  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field

  • Current and unrestricted state licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LPCC, or equivalent)

  • Specialized experience or training in infant and early childhood mental health strongly preferred

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required

  • Previous experience working with children ages 0–6 in a therapeutic or behavioral health setting preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an empathetic and family-centered approach

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage documentation and scheduling efficiently

  • Knowledge of early childhood development, trauma-informed care, and attachment theory is a plus
