We’re currently seeking a dedicated Infant Lead Teacher to join our team and support our youngest learners with care, compassion, and expertise.


Responsibilities


  • Provide a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants (6 weeks – 18 months).

  • Develop and implement daily routines that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.

  • Maintain compliance with Michigan childcare licensing rules and health/safety guidelines.

  • Collaborate with assistant teachers to ensure positive classroom management and smooth daily operations.

  • Communicate effectively with parents through daily reports, updates, and conferences.

  • Track developmental milestones and document progress for each child.

  • Foster a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom culture.

Qualifications


  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA, or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).

  • Previous experience in an infant classroom or childcare setting required.

  • Knowledge of Reggio Emilia, or Creative Curriculum preferred.

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills.
