Pay: $23-$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
The Learning Experience - Billerica is seeking an experienced and nurturing Infant Lead Teacher to create a warm, responsive classroom where our youngest learners feel safe, loved, and supported throughout each stage of development.
As an Infant Lead Teacher, you'll combine responsive care with meaningful early learning experiences while building trusting relationships with children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily Infant classroom routines and learning experiences
- Provide responsive, individualized care based on each child's needs
- Support feeding, diapering, sleep, tummy time, and developmental routines
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create age-appropriate sensory, language, music, movement, and exploration activities
- Observe and document children's development
- Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
- Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Maintain a clean, safe, nurturing, and organized classroom
- Follow Massachusetts EEC requirements
Qualifications
- Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as an Infant-Toddler Lead Teacher
- Professional Infant or Toddler classroom experience strongly preferred
- Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving
- Patient, nurturing, dependable, and collaborative
