About the Role:
Lasting Impressions Child Development Center in Clarksburg, WV is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Infant/Mobile Infant Assistant Teacher to join our team! In this rewarding role, you'll help nurture the earliest stages of childhood development in a warm, supportive environment. Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and mobile infants
• Support daily caregiving routines including feeding, diapering, and nap schedules
• Engage infants in age-appropriate sensory and developmental activities
• Observe and document infant development milestones and daily progress
• Communicate openly and professionally with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with licensing standards
• Collaborate with lead teachers to implement developmentally appropriate curriculum

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; early childhood education coursework preferred
• Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a childcare or educational setting is a plus
• Knowledge of infant development, safe sleep practices, and basic health and safety guidelines
• Ability to obtain or maintain current CPR and First Aid certification
• Must meet WV childcare licensing background check requirements
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
