Infant Nanny Position

Location: Lower Manhattan, NY
Compensation: $30–$35/hour
Commitment: Full-time, long-term
Guaranteed Hours: 47.5 hours/week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–6:00 PM (occasionally later one day/week, with advance notice)
Start Date: Early October 2026

Position Overview
A warm, engaged first-time family is seeking a dedicated, long-term nanny for their 3-month-old son. The family lives in Lower Manhattan and also spends occasional time at a second home upstate, which the nanny may travel to on occasion. This is a full-time, hands-on role centered on infant care, with the opportunity to grow with the family over time. The ideal candidate is active, detail-oriented, and comfortable using an app to track feeding and schedule information.

Responsibilities

• Provide full care for a 3-month-old, following the family's established feeding and sleep routines
• Plan active outings — park visits, playdates, and age-appropriate activities
• Track feeding and schedule details via app as directed by parents
• Light household tasks during nap times (laundry, grocery shopping, light meal prep)
• Occasional travel with the family to their upstate home
• Occasional flexibility for one later evening per week, with advance notice

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience
• Fluent Spanish speaker
• Clear, consistent work history reflected on resume
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Up to date on standard vaccinations (COVID-19, flu, Tdap)
• Comfortable with technology and app-based schedule tracking
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
• Driving is not required for this position
