About the Role: PARK EAST ACADEMY INC is seeking a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our dedicated team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for our youngest learners, fostering their growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for infants.
Monitor and assess each child's development and progress.
Provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes emotional and social growth.
Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and daily activities.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the learning experience.
Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops.
Ensure compliance with state regulations and safety standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. CDA or Associate with experience.
Experience working with infants or in a childcare setting is a plus.
CPR and First Aid certification required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices.
Background check clearance required.
