This is a full-time position, scheduled 8 hour shifts Monday to Friday during the centers operational hours. The hourly pay rate is $14.50 - 15.50, based on experience and qualifications.  This position is situated at our center located at 1108 Peachtree Street, Cocoa FL 32922. 

The Infant /Toddler Teacher plans and implements curriculum, serves as a model and mentor, and coordinates engaging developmental activities for children aged 6 weeks to 1 years old. You’ll have the opportunity to build a dynamic classroom environment, create fun-filled learning activities, and support the growth and success of children. 

What We Need from You:   

•    High School Diploma and/or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study preferred   
•    FL DCF 45 hours required  
•    FL DCF Transcript – Please send transcript to Dbrown@source2.com. You can retrieve the transcript from  https://training01-dcf.myflorida.com/studentsite/admin/signin 
•    CDA for infants and Toddlers highly preferred    
•    Must clear a full DCF level II background check.   
•    At least 1-3 years of professional early childhood training/experience   
•    Ability to write a lesson plan based on our curriculum “Beyond Learning”  
•    CPR Certification and First Aid Certifications plus    

What You’ll Do:  

•    Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards   
•    Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching   
•    Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth   
•    Follow all program policies and state regulations   
•    Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
