    Role Description The Infant Teacher will provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for infants, fostering a secure and responsive environment throughout the day. Responsibilities include feeding, diapering, and maintaining hygiene routines while closely monitoring infants’ health, safety, and developmental milestones. The teacher will plan and implement simple, sensory-rich activities that support early learning, document progress, and communicate daily with families about each child’s experience. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized classroom, following center policies and licensing regulations, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality care. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dyer, IN.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of Early Childhood Development and Child Development, with the ability to apply best practices for infants.
    • \n
    • Experience in Teaching infants or toddlers and creating nurturing, developmentally appropriate classroom environments.
    • \n
    • Skills in Curriculum Development for infants, including planning sensory and play-based activities that support growth.
    • \n
    • Strong Communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and building positive, professional relationships with families.
    • \n
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
    • \n
    • Prior experience in a licensed child care or early learning setting is highly beneficial.
    • \n
    • Ability to lift, carry, and interact safely with infants, and to follow health, safety, and licensing guidelines consistently.
    • \n
    • Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
