About the Role:
Join The Goddard School of Mount Pleasant, SC as an Infant Teacher, where you will play a vital role in nurturing and educating our youngest learners. We are dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and stimulating environment that promotes growth and development for infants.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster early learning.
- Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment for infants.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's development and progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's growth and daily activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the educational experience.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Encourage socialization and emotional development through play and interaction.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops regularly.
Requirements:
- High School diploma required; Associate's/Bachelor's preferred degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Experience working with infants or in a childcare setting preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification required or willing to obtain.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with parents and children.
- Passion for early childhood education and nurturing young minds.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Background check and references required for employment.
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude are essential.
