About the Role:
Join the dedicated team at Northbridge Child Development Center as an Infant Teacher, where you will nurture and support the earliest stages of child development. We are passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment for infants, ensuring they thrive in their formative years.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education for infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months.
- Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive and social development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Observe and assess each child's development and communicate progress to parents.
- Collaborate with a team of educators to create a supportive learning atmosphere.
- Engage with parents through regular updates and open communication.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of all children.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience working with infants in a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices.
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
- Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
