    Job Description

    About Us
At Dreamland Early Learning Center, we are dedicated to nurturing young minds and inspiring a lifelong love of learning through a balanced approach to early childhood education. Our program blends academic foundations with social-emotional development, using play-based activities such as music, art, and hands-on exploration to introduce language, science, and math concepts. We foster a warm, inclusive environment where children build independence, kindness, and confidence while engaging in both individual and group learning experiences. By partnering closely with families, we create meaningful early learning journeys that prepare children for future academic success while encouraging creativity and discovery. (Dreamland Early Learning Center)

We Are Hiring – Infant Teacher
We are seeking a nurturing and reliable Infant Teacher who meets Title 22 licensing requirements, including a minimum of 12 ECE units with at least 3 units in Infant/Toddler Development, or a Child Development Permit. The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years of experience working with infants (0–24 months) in a licensed childcare setting and demonstrates strong knowledge of infant care routines, development, and safe sleep practices. Candidates must hold (or be willing to obtain within the first two weeks of hire) Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification, Mandated Reporter training, and Sexual Harassment Prevention training. Additional requirements include background clearance, TB test, and immunization records. We are looking for someone who is warm, attentive, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and their families.

    \nCompany Description

In the middle of the 20th century Dr. Spoke, Maria Montessori and Reggio Emilia approach helped shape the philosophy of child development. However, we realized that the socioeconomic make up of Los Angeles makes it a unique place and we decided that it would be best to take parts of these theories and combine them for our center. Dreamland philosophy is one based upon positive reinforcement for improved social interaction and active involvement for academic progress.
We plan activities that involve children working individually as well as in small and large groups. We encourage children to explore the environment while being kind, considerate and respecting the rights of others.
We use academic and developmental approach. The teachers introduce concepts of language, science and mathematics through play and activities that are familiar to children such as music, arts and sports.
We do realize that we need to prepare our children for the academic challenges which will await them in the near future, but what is more important is that we want to plant a seed of creativity.
