About the Role:
Join Brighton Learning Center, Inc. as an Infant/Toddler Teacher, where you will nurture and inspire our youngest learners in a warm and engaging environment. We are passionate about early childhood education and are looking for dedicated individuals to help create a positive and enriching experience for infants and toddlers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers.
- Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and milestones.
- Engage with parents and families through regular communication and updates on their child's progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to foster a cohesive learning community.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Support children in developing social skills and emotional regulation through guided play and activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma/equivalent.
- Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education.
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude are essential.
- Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
