Infant/Toddler Teacher Part time

Introduction:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Infant Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality care and education to infants in our child care center. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and communicating with parents about their child's development and progress. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff. This position is Monday-Friday 12pm-5pm with the potential for full time hours in the next 30-90 days if the applicant is willing.

Responsibilities:

• Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, including providing emotional and physical support

• Implement age-appropriate activities to promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants

• Communicate with parents about their child's day in our app

• Follow all policies and procedures related to the care and education of infants, including adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate records

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education

• Closing the building as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to multitask

• Able to stand for long periods of time & able to lift 50 pounds

• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff

• Knowledge or willing to learn about child development and age-appropriate activities for infants
