RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage and care for the needs of children.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
- Foster strong relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom to promote an effective learning environment.
- Stay informed about early childhood education best practices and implement them in daily activities.
- Maintain health & safety protocols at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in infant/toddler care is highly desirable.
- Must meet all state requirements and pass a background check.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an orderly environment conducive to learning.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles to support age-appropriate learning activities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude combined with patience and enthusiasm for teaching preschool-aged children.
- Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality.
- Highly professional and dependable.
- Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds (on a consistent basis) and bend and sit for periods of time.
