Position Summary:
The Infection Control Nurse evaluates quality of resident care and resident outcomes as they relate to healthcare associated/nosocomial infections.
Position Responsibilities of an Infection Control RN:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current license as a Registered Nurse (PA) with the State Board of Nursing. CPR certification recommended. Certification in Infection Control is desired.
