Lead infection prevention strategy that protects patients, employees, and communities across a multisite ambulatory organization.
Position Highlights
- Develop and oversee the enterprise infection prevention and control program
- Lead infection surveillance, communicable disease monitoring, exposure investigations, outbreak response, and risk assessments
- Establish standards for precautions, hand hygiene, sterilization, high level disinfection, and respiratory safety
- Guide environmental health and safety programs, including hazard communication, regulated waste, and infection control risk assessments
- Conduct audits, analyze trends, develop corrective actions, and support regulatory inspections
- Create dashboards, executive reporting, education, and resources that strengthen consistent clinical practice
- Hybrid work environment with travel up to 25 percent across Florida clinic locations
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Active unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse license
- Five or more years of healthcare experience
- Two or more years of infection prevention, epidemiology, public health, quality, patient safety, accreditation, regulatory compliance, or related healthcare operations experience
- CIC preferred at hire and required within 24 months
