A health services network on Long Island is actively seeking a licensed Physician to join their team as a Physician Quality Lead overseeing HIV/Hepatitis, STI, Tuberculosis, and PREP care across multiple locations in Patchogue, Amityville, and Brentwood.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: 4 Days Clinical, 1 Day Admin
- Hours: Full-time
- Setting: Multi-location (Patchogue, Amityville, Brentwood)
Responsibilities:
- Providing Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine care for patients with HIV, Hepatitis, and STI
- Participating in Tuberculosis care with the local Department of Health
- Participating in Case Conferences with care managers
- Managing general outpatient infectious disease referrals
- Collaborating with Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Women's Health, MDs, NPs, and PAs
Qualifications:
- Doctorate Degree (MD, DO)
- Active/Valid license as an MD or DO in New York State, DEA
- Board Certification
- Leadership experience in the Infectious Disease specialty
- DEA registration
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations in a community health setting
