The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Infectious Diseases physician to join the faculty of the Texas Center for Infectious Disease (TCID) in San Antonio, Texas. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice at one of the nations only dedicated tuberculosis hospital while participating in medical education, public health, and clinical and translational research.

Position Highlights:

This unique academic position combines inpatient and outpatient infectious diseases practice with opportunities to care for patients with tuberculosis (TB) and Hansens disease (leprosy). Faculty work alongside nationally recognized experts in tuberculosis and mycobacterial diseases while collaborating with the Heartland National TB Center, state and local public health agencies, and multidisciplinary specialists.

The successful candidate will have opportunities to participate in:

• Comprehensive inpatient management of patients with tuberculosis and associated medical conditions.
• Outpatient management of tuberculosis, latent tuberculosis infection, and Hanse
