Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Informatica Architect to join a critical Data and product modernization effort. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing MDM solutions using Informatica MDM. The role will lead the architecture and technical direction for enterprise data management initiatives, ensuring data consistency, quality, and governance across the organization.

Additional responsibilities include:

Design and architect end-to-end MDM solutions using Informatica MDM, including data modeling, integration, and workflow design.

Define MDM architecture standards, best practices, and governance processes.

Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable MDM solutions.

Lead the configuration, customization, and deployment of Informatica MDM Hub, Data Director, and related components.

Integrate MDM solutions with source and target systems (ERP, CRM, Data Warehouses, etc.) using Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ, and other ETL tools.

Oversee data migration, cleansing, and enrichment activities.

Establish data stewardship and data governance frameworks.

Implement data quality rules, match and merge logic, and survivorship strategies.

Monitor and improve data quality and consistency across master data domains (Customer, Product, Vendor, etc.).

Provide technical leadership to development teams and mentor junior staff.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to architectural standards.

Stay current with Informatica MDM product updates and industry best practices.

Participate in project planning, estimation, and status reporting.

Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution.

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of experience in data management, with at least 4 years in informatica MDM architecture and implementation.

Strong expertise in Informatica MDM (Hub, Data Director, IDD, SIF APIs).

Experience with data modeling, data integration (ETL), and data quality tools (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ).

Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).

Experience with cloud-based MDM deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Knowledge of data governance, data stewardship, and master data domains. Prefer Informatica MDM certifications. null
