Job Summary (Core Data Platform Engineer - Java/Framework Heavy, Cloud Data Engineer):

- Build and maintain a custom metadata engine to replace Informatica.
- Develop backend solutions using expert-level Java and Spring Batch framework.
- Utilize AWS cloud services for data engineering workflows.
- Perform complex SQL operations and manage RDBMS databases.
- Leverage ETL experience (Informatica or other tools) for data integration processes.
- Integrate and orchestrate batch jobs with enterprise schedulers (e.g., Control-M).
- Work with Snowflake for data warehousing and data pipeline solutions.
- Apply Python skills where applicable (if not using Java).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data platform solutions.
