Informatica IDMC Onsite Lead

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) Onsite Lead to lead customer engagements and the delivery of enterprise data-management solutions.

You will serve as the primary interface between client stakeholders in New Jersey and global delivery teams. The role combines hands-on Informatica IDMC expertise with solution architecture, project leadership, requirements management, and onsite–offshore coordination.

The successful candidate will design scalable solutions across data integration, data quality, governance, cataloguing, and enterprise data migration, including the modernization of Informatica PowerCenter workloads to IDMC.

Key Responsibilities

Technical and Solution Leadership

• Lead the architecture, design, development, implementation, and support of Informatica IDMC solutions.
  
• Design solutions using:
  • Cloud Data Integration (CDI)
    
  • Cloud Data Quality (CDQ)
    
  • Cloud Application Integration (CAI)
    
  • Mass Ingestion
    
  • Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC)
    
• Define integration architecture, technical standards, reusable frameworks, and development best practices.
  
• Conduct architecture, solution, and code reviews.
  
• Ensure that solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and quality requirements.
  
• Lead modernization and migration initiatives from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC.
  

Client and Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary onsite liaison between client stakeholders and offshore delivery teams.
  
• Lead requirements-gathering workshops, design discussions, technical reviews, and project meetings.
  
• Translate business needs into technical designs, implementation plans, and delivery roadmaps.
  
• Manage stakeholder expectations, project communication, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution.
  
• Present project progress, technical recommendations, and delivery updates to client and leadership teams.
  

Project Delivery and Governance

• Lead project planning, effort estimation, delivery execution, and resource coordination.
  
• Coordinate developers, business analysts, architects, QA engineers, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
  
• Ensure the timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining quality, security, and compliance standards.
  
• Support UAT, production deployment, hypercare, and post-production activities.
  
• Drive delivery in accordance with Agile/Scrum practices and project-governance frameworks.
  

Data Integration and Governance

• Design and implement enterprise-scale ETL and ELT solutions.
  
• Develop frameworks for data profiling, cleansing, validation, monitoring, and remediation.
  
• Build integrations between cloud data platforms, SAP S/4HANA, and other enterprise applications.
  
• Implement data-governance, metadata-management, lineage, and data-cataloguing capabilities.
  
• Ensure compliance with organizational data policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in enterprise data integration and Informatica technologies.
  
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC.
  
• Practical expertise in:
  • Cloud Data Integration
    
  • Cloud Data Quality
    
  • Cloud Application Integration
    
  • Mass Ingestion
    
  • Cloud Data Governance and Catalog
    
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT development, data warehousing, and enterprise integration architecture.
  
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with databases or platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL.
  
• Experience with Linux, shell scripting, and process automation.
  
• Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with cloud or enterprise data platforms.
  
• Knowledge of REST APIs, web services, JSON, and XML.
  
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  
• Previous responsibility for coordinating onsite and offshore delivery teams.
  
• Strong client-facing, consulting, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  
• Proven ability to lead developers, analysts, and technical consultants.
  
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Informatica IDMC certification.
  
• Experience migrating Informatica PowerCenter workloads to IDMC.
  
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or comparable modern data platforms.
  
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.
  
• Industry experience in healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing, banking, financial services, insurance, or retail.
  
• Experience with DevOps practices, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
  
• Knowledge of Master Data Management.
  
• Exposure to cloud-native data architectures and modern analytics ecosystems.
  

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
