Informatica MDM Architect

Role & Responsibilities Overview:

• Designing & implementing MDM strategies, policies, and procedures
• Managing and governing master data across the organization to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to establish data standards and ensure adherence to data policies. Understanding of strategic data and IT solutions
• Utilize your expertise in Informatica MDM (Profiling and Mastering) and MDM Hub Configuration to configure and customize the MDM solution.
• Work with client(s) to understand company needs to define architecture and build data solutions.
• Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX) and databases (e.g. MySQL, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redshift etc.). Familiarity with SFTP tools.
• Doing independent research, analyzing, and present capabilities and alignment with current solution.
• Experience in any cloud technologies will be a good addition.
• Managing the learning and development of new team members
• Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines
• Participate in business development activities.
• Experience in insurance and investment management preferred.

Required Skillset:

• Technology Exposure:
  • 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working as MDM Solutions Architect.
  • A strong onshore functional architect with MDM experience.
  • The client is acquiring multiple 3rd party datasets. So would need someone who can help the client to set up the entity master process: merging internal and external datasets, setting parent-child relationships, defining entity merge rules.
  • Must understand process to set up the MDM rules/architecture for client's entity master.
  • Go getter attitude with strong consulting background.
  • Expertise in building solution architecture, data pipelines, technical workflows.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills with consultative mindset.
  • Should be able to lead team independently and prepare/manage client ready deliverable.
  • Able to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in handling finance/investment data

• MDM Skillset:
  • Proven experience working with MDM components and configuring MDM solutions.
  • Strong understanding of MDM best practices and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in creating, enhancing, and managing data models.
  • Good experience with MDM, including handling critical prod data issues, hot fixes, and patches.
  • Familiarity with data quality tools/modules like Informatica Data Quality, IDD, and E360 UI.
  • B.S. Degree in a data-centric field (Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other science field), Information Systems, Information Processing, or engineering.
  • Exposure to data governance tools Informatica, Alation, Collibra, Azure DevOps, Git etc. is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with some level of ambiguity and juggle multiple demands.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors/Master's degree in computer science/engineering
• MDM Architect experience is mandatory.
• Any Cloud Certification preferred.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in a fast paced & continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges.
