Position is responsible for supporting the electronic nursing documentation system, Point of Care (POC), in collaboration with the Information Technology department. Responsible for development and education of Electronic Medical Record data entry tools and data collection tools with Information Technology.
This position requires awareness of nursing documentation standards such as Joint Commission Patient Safety Goals. Assist medical staff with functions related to access of electronic patient information for decision-making. Responsible for monitoring and assuring integration of data between systems for the most optimal and complete medication record. Responsible for overseeing training and education of AHMC electronic documentation implementation.
Responsibilities:RN/California License, Bachelor degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 2 years Acute Care Clinical Experience.
