Senior Data Analyst / Data Migration Specialist

    Role Overview:

These roles are critical for ensuring the success of our data migration and downstream data delivery efforts. The ideal candidates will possess a strong technical foundation in data analysis, profiling, and sourcing, combined with an understanding of modern information architecture and a strong interest in AI technologies.

These resources will be deployed across two critical areas of need within the project:

    1. Data Quality & Migration Focus: Driving data quality management within the data migration workstream. This involves coordinating closely with business stakeholders to organize and execute the cleansing of data at source systems (e.g., SAP ECC) to ensure readiness for the S4 migration.

    Responsibilities:

    • Execute hands-on data analysis, data profiling, and data sourcing to support complex migration and architecture efforts.
    • Run and manage specific data project workstreams, ensuring seamless delivery and alignment with project goals.
    • Work directly with data consumers and business stakeholders to understand requirements, validate data quality, and resolve issues.
    • Organize and support data cleansing efforts at the legacy source level (e.g., SAP ECC) in preparation for S4 migration.
    • Collaborate with the Data Lead to structure and organize data assets for downstream consumption.
    • Translate complex technical data concepts and findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Minimum 6 years of related experience
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
    • Data Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience in data analysis, data profiling, and data sourcing within large-scale enterprise environments. Alteryx and Databricks are the tools of choice for data analysis.
    • Information Architecture: Solid basic understanding of information architecture concepts, including data domains, system interfaces, and ADL (Azure Data Lake) medallion architecture.
    • Deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Finance data domains.
    • Prior experience navigating and extracting/cleansing data from legacy SAP ECC environments.
    • AI Acumen: Practical experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools/concepts and a strong, demonstrated interest in leveraging AI for data management.
    • Project Execution: Demonstrated experience running data project workstreams and interacting directly with end data consumers.
    • Communication: Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a track record of successfully bridging the gap between IT and business stakeholders.
