Information Desk Student Assistant Position Overview: Information Desk Student Assistants staff the Information Desk in the Library. The Information Desk is an integral part of the campus and Library operation and serves as the first point of contact for individuals seeking services, resources, spaces, and general directional guidance. Student Assistants are expected to use excellent customer service skills in greeting, assisting, and directing all visitors to the Library. They are expected to exercise discretion in assisting and directing visitors in need of assistance. In addition, Information Desk Student Assistants assist with various Library-related projects as assigned, including shelving, organizing, and moving materials. Please note: we are currently hiring for both regularly scheduled positions and our sub-pool positions. Essential Duties:
