Title: Information Security Analyst II

Hours Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Location Salem, OR 97301 (Remote Available; Local Candidates Preferred for Occasional Onsite Meetings)
Duration: 8 month contract (coverage for a leave)

Overview
We are seeking an Information Security Analyst II to support a contract engagement focused on cybersecurity risk and third-party risk management. This position will provide coverage for a team member on leave and offers the potential for extension based on business needs.

The ideal candidate has experience with security risk assessments, auditing, and cross-functional collaboration. This role works closely with technical and business stakeholders to evaluate risks, improve security controls, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Job Description
  • Conduct third-party risk assessments and security reviews.
  • Perform controls assessments and assist with audit activities.
  • Analyze security metrics and risk data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Document findings and recommendations in ServiceNow and JIRA.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cybersecurity and risk initiatives.
  • Translate technical security concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
  • Support ongoing cybersecurity governance and risk management efforts.
  • Assist with process improvements and other security-related projects as assigned.

Required Skills
  • 2 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information technology, risk management, auditing, or a related field.
  • Experience performing third-party risk assessments.
  • Auditing or controls assessment experience.
  • Experience using ServiceNow.
  • Experience with JIRA.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and eager to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred, not required).
  • Experience in cybersecurity risk management.
  • Understanding of retail and supply chain environments.
  • Passion for sports is a plus.
  • Preferred certifications:
    • CRISC
    • CISSP
