Information Security Analyst

Do you know network security - and want to help protect the systems that keep a city running? The Technology & Innovation Department is looking for an Information Security Analyst to join our team.

In this role, youll support, maintain, and safeguard the Citys computer systems, networks and data. This includes daily monitoring to detect and analyze threats and execute appropriate response procedures.

Youll also help shape the Citys security posture directly: Respond to security incidents, investigating root causes, and implementing corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

Minimum Training & Experience

Possession of a bachelor's degree and three years of experience in an information technology, cybersecurity, or related customer service field.

or

Possession of a high school diploma or GED and seven years of experience in an information technology, cybersecurity, or related customer service field.

Necessary Special Requirements

Must successfully complete a fingerprint-based criminal background screening and obtain the Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) certification within 30 days of employment.

Salary Range

$25.1538 to $68.2567/hourly. Hiring rate generally will not exceed $42.9132/hour.

Drivers License Requirements

Must possess a valid Class-E State drivers license at the time of appointment.
